While there are no effective eye exercises for refractive abnormalities such as astigmatism, myopia, or hyperopia, there are certain movements that are intended to tone and condition the muscles that support your eyes.
Eye exercises have been demonstrated to treat some eye alignment and focusing issues. Experts continue to emphasise that the only method to remove glasses is surgically, but eye workouts, when done properly, are helpful to eye health.

Palming
Palming is a yogic eye exercise that involves relaxing the muscles around the eyes in order to reduce eye fatigue. The energy released when you vigorously massage your palms together and place them over your eyes provides much-needed relief to your tired eyes.
Begin by vigorously rubbing your hands together to warm them up. Close your eyes and place the palms of your hands over the eyes. For five minutes, cup your hand over each eye and breathe deeply. Make sure not to put any extra pressure on your eyes.
Blinking
Our blink rate slows down when we spend prolonged periods of time on TV or computer screen. This might dry out the eyes, making them feel fatigued. Consciously blinking might help repair the tear film. Blinking stimulates the lubricating secretions of the oil glands in the eyelids. It also aids in spreading tears across the eyes.
A blinking exercise may include closing one’s eyes for two seconds, then opening them again. The eyelids can be purposefully pinched firmly while the eyes are closed to stimulate the oil glands.

Imagine a big number 8 turned on its side that is placed on the floor 10 feet away from you. Slowly trace the imaginary figure with your eyes several times. Then go the other direction. Continue for 30 seconds before changing directions.
Push-ups with a pencil
When looking at a close object, pencil push-ups are widely used to train the eyes to move in toward one another or converge.
Hold a pencil at arm’s length while wearing your best near vision correction to perform a pencil push-up. Concentrate on the pencil. If there is something written on the pencil, bring it into focus so that it can be read. Move the pencil slowly towards your nose while maintaining the pencil or word single and focused. Draw it away from the eyes again once it has doubled. Repeat as needed.
.Near and far focus
Altering between near and far attention helps to improve the flexibility of your eyes and improve your focus.
Focus on your thumb for 15 seconds, 10 inches away from your face. Alternatively, you can engage your focusing mechanism by holding a nearby object with a letter on it. After fifteen seconds, transfer your focus to a subject 20 feet (6 meters) distant and hold it for another 15 seconds. Return your attention to your thumb. Repeat as needed.
